I recorded a 25 minute screencast giving an overview of the basic features of Org-mode.

Notes on Emacs Setup

  • Color Theme
    In the screencast I'm using my Colorful Obsolescence color theme, though I now use Active and Wombat.
  • Tabbar
    In the screencast I'm using tabbar.el, though I no longer use it.
  • Font
    The font is Bitstream Vera Sans, though I recommend DejaVu and Terminus.
